Associate Solicitor - Serious Injury£49,600 - £72,000 + bonus & benefits Are you an experienced Serious Injury lawyer ready to step into a leadership role? My client is looking for an ambitious Associate (Grade A) to join their specialist Serious Injury team and help shape the future of the department. You'll lead on high-value, complex personal injury cases (ranging from £150k to multi-million-pound claims), mentor colleagues, and play a key role in business development and team strategy.What you'll be doing:
  • Running your own caseload of serious injury claims (£150k - £5m+).
  • Acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor for your team.
  • Drafting pleadings, schedules of loss, and other key legal documents.
  • Leading client meetings and working with experts, counsel, and case managers.
  • Securing interim payments and rehabilitation to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Mentoring and motivating junior lawyers, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Supporting the department's growth through business development, networking, and building external relationships.
What we're looking for:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx (8+ PQE or equivalent).
  • Proven track record managing serious/catastrophic injury claims.
  • Strong litigation experience and in-depth knowledge of court procedures.
  • Passion for client care and helping people through life-changing events.
  • Leadership skills - experience mentoring or supervising colleagues.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills.
