Tailored Recruitment are working with a leading employer in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Scheduler.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Scheduler to coordinate and support a team of service engineers operating across the North West region. This is a key role within our operations team, ensuring efficient deployment of engineers to meet customer demands while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate the daily activities of service engineers across the North West area.

  • Manage incoming service requests, prioritising tasks based on urgency, location, and resource availability.

  • Act as the main point of contact between engineers and clients, ensuring smooth communication and updates on service times.

  • Optimise routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.

  • Monitor and track job progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to SLAs.

  • Handle reactive and planned maintenance bookings.

  • Maintain accurate records of job details, engineer availability, and customer communications.

  • Provide support in managing emergencies or last-minute changes to the schedule.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar scheduler, coordinator, or dispatch role.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and dynamic workload.

  • Excellent prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in a service or engineering environment preferred.

  • Calm under pressure with a proactive and adaptable approach.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with Customers
