A time-served apprenticeship is required for this position, and shifts are rotating from Monday to Friday, including Sunday work every 1 in 3 weeks.

Salary: £39,182.21 per annum + Shift allowance - £44,768.10

0545 - 1400 - Monday - Friday
1345 - 2200 - Monday - Friday
45 - 0600 - Monday - Friday 0600 - 1330
Sunday 1 in 3

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the facilities.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance

Skills and Qualifications of the Maintenance Engineer

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Time served apprenticeship
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
