Prospero Health and Social Care are actively seeking experienced staff to support Children and Young Adults in Wakefield and surrounding areas.
Everyday is different and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promoting independence, being a role model and achieving a successful home environment for them to live, in line with local authority care plan.
Please see the requirements below:
- 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector (working with children and young adults)
- Previous experience in a support worker, youth work, or care setting
- Flexible around travel arrangements
- Able to work flexibly, including weekends and night shifts when required
- Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential)
- Social Care registered
Experience:
Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred)
