We are currently recruiting on behalf of Wakefield Council for a Senior Social Worker to join their Childrens Locality Team. This is a frontline social work role for an experienced practitioner who is confident managing a mixed caseload of both assessments and long-term cases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely, supportive team under a hands-on and approachable manager, with regular supervision and a balanced duty rota (1 week in every 4). If youre seeking stability, support, and a team that genuinely values professional growththis role is for you.

Key Requirements:

Must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in Childrens Social Care
Experience working within Assessment, CIN, and/or Long-Term teams
Confident in managing risk, undertaking assessments, and progressing care plans
Able to commit to 1 in 4 weeks of duty cover
Team player with strong communication and resilience in frontline services
