We are seeking an Admin Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for a bright, articulate team player with excellent IT and interpersonal skills. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Team Coordinator, Senior Management, the Social Work Team, and the Fostering Panel Chair.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide administrative support across various departments including Social Work and Senior Management.
  • Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion and ensure all information is stored securely.
  • Take and produce minutes for meetings, including fostering panels and team meetings, ensuring records are accurate and disseminated within agreed timescales.
  • Handle data inputting on systems such as CHARMS, Citation, and ClearCare, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Coordinate training and social events, manage communications with carers, and assist with the logistics of these events.
  • Support marketing activities and assist in the recruitment processes for new staff and foster carers.
  • Manage facilities operations and purchases in coordination with the Team Coordinator.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safe working practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in an administrative role or customer service environment, ideally within a Local Authority or similar setting.
  • Proficient with IT systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills with confident and persuasive telephone skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload and work independently.
  • Knowledge of Social Services, particularly in services for children.
  • Minimum of two A-levels or equivalent, and GCSEs including English and Maths.
