Salary: £444.60 – £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside. This role is ideal for someone who loves play-based learning, can support children with additional needs, and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engaging, play-based learning activities in the EYFS classroom
• Work with teachers to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment
• Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, helping them thrive
• Assist in preparing resources and delivering group and one-to-one activities
• Be a caring, reliable role model for children during these crucial years

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting early years or primary-aged children
• Confidence working with pupils with SEND
• A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to child development
• A proactive team player who can adapt to classroom needs
