Transport Administrator Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: £25K-£28K Dependant on Experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual looking to start a career and/or develop within Logistics and Transport in a fast-moving and forward-thinking business.
The Job
- Work collaboratively in supporting the Transport team with daily operations across fleet management, customer service and management, route planning and customer delivery scheduling
- Administration duties including compliance documentation, pallet ordering, invoicing and weekly reporting of work in progress, KPIs and delivery performance
- Building rapport and relationships with customers and external suppliers and subcontractor partners
Desired Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration or coordinator role
- Good working knowledge of transport compliance and documentation
- Competent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different departments, customers and external suppliers / subcontractors
- A team player with a proactive and professional attitude and a keen willingness to learn
