- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinating with management and staff to meet financial objectives.
- Assisting in the budgeting process and financial planning.
- Implementing best practices in accounting and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the property industry.
- Mentoring and developing junior staff within the accounting & finance department.
Profile
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE accountant
- A strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and regulatory standards in the property industry.
- Proficiency in key financial software packages.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
