Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join a well-established residential care home in Walsall. The home specialises in providing high-quality care for residents living with Dementia, Mental Health conditions, and Physical Disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centred care, with proven experience in a senior role within a residential or nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of care staff on shift

  • Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently provided

  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies

  • Mentor and support junior staff and provide guidance where needed

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - essential

  • Previous experience working in a Senior Carer or Team Leader role

  • Strong understanding of care standards and CQC regulations

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

  • Compassionate and professional approach to care
