Primary Teacher

ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Primary Teacher with previous experience working in a Key Stage 2 setting to work full time in a Year 5 class at a primary school in Walsall to start from September 2025.

The role 
This role includes the following:

• Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
• Full time hours with an option to be paid to a M1-M6 scale from the outset.
• This will be long term cover commencing from the beginning of the Autumn Term and continuing until the Easter break.

The school 
This school is a two-form entry based in the Walsall area. Currently working closely with ABC Teachers offering a warm environment for supply staff coming into the school.

Requirements 
To be considered for the Year 5 Teacher position, you will: 

•  Be able to communicate and work effectively with pupils in a Key Stage 2 setting.
•  Have experience teaching the Year 5 curriculum.
•  Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
•  Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
•  Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
