Team Leader – Children’s Residential
Location: Waltham Abbey
Pay: £14.50 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Eligibility: Full right to work in the UK is required – no sponsorships available
Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Team Leader to join our client’s dedicated team in a children’s residential setting in Waltham Abbey.
What we’re looking for

NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) – essential

Experience working with children and young people with EBD needs
-
Previous experience in a children’s residential setting

Strong leadership and team management skills

A caring, resilient, and professional approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
What you’ll do

Lead and support a team of staff to deliver high-quality care
-
Provide direct support to children and young people, promoting independence, well-being, and positive outcomes

Ensure safeguarding standards and care plans are consistently maintained

Oversee daily routines, activities, and staff performance

Contribute to staff training, development, and supervision

Work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins (£50 per sleep-in allowance)
