Team Leader – Children’s Residential
Location: Waltham Abbey
Pay: £14.50 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Eligibility: Full right to work in the UK is required – no sponsorships available

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Team Leader to join our client’s dedicated team in a children’s residential setting in Waltham Abbey.

 

What we’re looking for
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) – essential

  • Experience working with children and young people with EBD needs

  • Previous experience in a children’s residential setting

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • A caring, resilient, and professional approach

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

 

What you’ll do
  • Lead and support a team of staff to deliver high-quality care

  • Provide direct support to children and young people, promoting independence, well-being, and positive outcomes

  • Ensure safeguarding standards and care plans are consistently maintained

  • Oversee daily routines, activities, and staff performance

  • Contribute to staff training, development, and supervision

  • Work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins (£50 per sleep-in allowance)
