PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - Up to £30,000p/a
Based in Ware, Herts
Our client is a well established business based in Ware who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance function on a permanent basis.
The role will report to a Purchase ledger supervisor and involve a full hand over and training.
The hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some hybrid working offered after probation.
The main duties are
- Processing around 200-300 invoices per month
- Processing purchase invoices, matching to P.O
- Reconciling supplier statements to the Purchase Ledger.
- Allocating cash and credit notes to invoices.
- Answering telephone calls and emails from suppliers.
- Filing of invoices.
- Internal meetings with key stakeholders reconciling accounts.
- Producing weekly schedule of payments due.
- Ad-hoc support within the finance team.
