About the Role - PMLD Teaching Assistant
In this full-time, permanent position, you will:
- Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with PMLD
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
- Work closely with students in 1:1 and small group settings
- Support the implementation of personalised learning and care plans
- Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and other support staff
- Help with daily routines, personal care, and mobility where needed
Who We're Looking For
- Passionate about supporting children with complex needs and SEN
- Calm, patient, and adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with SEN or PMLD students is desirable
- Relevant qualifications in education or care are a bonus, but not essential
