A well known Defence organisation are seeking an experienced Subcontract Manager to play a key role for a major transformation programme within the Defence sector.
- Role: Subcontract Manager
- Pay: Up to 700 per day (Inside IR35)
- Duration: Initial 6 month contract
- Location: Warminster (Hybrid - 2/3 days)
- Clearance: SC Eligible
As a Subcontract Manager, you'll lead and manage highly important subcontracting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers with contracts valued between 50-100m, ensuring delivery excellence.
- Act as a subcontracts subject-matter expert, influencing operational plans, budgets, and business goals.
- Negotiate contracts, NDAs, and terms & conditions to protect business interests.
- Solve complex supply chain challenges through analysis, experience, and innovation.
- Drive process and performance improvements across suppliers and internal teams.

Key Requirements:
- Experience in subcontract management or procurement within Defence or Aerospace sectors
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value subcontracting activities.
- Advanced knowledge of supplier engagement and contract execution.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC level)
