Management Accountant - Join a High-Performing Finance Team

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support a growing and dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, part-qualified accountant to step into a fast-paced environment, working across a portfolio of businesses and playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and financial control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines, including full P&L and consolidated fund reporting

  • Complete accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain royalty and fixed asset records

  • Assist with board pack preparation, including variance analysis and EBITDA bridge reporting

  • Prepare finance summaries for non-finance stakeholders

  • Support with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes

  • Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts, including consolidations

  • Approve ledger transactions and liaise with purchase/sales ledger teams

  • Analyse KPIs and performance metrics for senior management

  • Engage in ad hoc analysis, business projects, and new system integrations

  • Help maintain and improve financial controls and governance

  • Provide holiday cover and team support where needed

Ideal Candidate
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)

  • Experienced in management accounts, budgeting & forecasting

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102

  • Confident using Excel (advanced level); Sage 200 experience desirable

  • Proactive and comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills - able to convey financial information clearly

  • Resilient, organised, and thrives under pressure

  • Strong team player with a collaborative, can-do mindset

  • Comfortable working with colleagues across multiple departments
