About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer to join a leading engineering and infrastructure team delivering essential services across the utilities sector. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex mechanical and pipework designs, contributing to projects that safeguard water supply, enhance environmental performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You’ll work in a supportive and safety-focused environment, where innovation, collaboration, and professional growth are encouraged.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce concept, developed, and detailed design deliverables for mechanical pipework and associated mechanical services, including: 3D models, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, bills of materials, valve/equipment schedules, design risk registers, steelwork support details, and specifications.

  • Ensure designs comply with customer design guides, procedures, and standards.

  • Conduct site surveys and provide support during installation activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • HNC or Degree in a technical engineering-related subject.

  • Proven experience in the Utilities sector (clean and wastewater).

  • Knowledge of water sector standards.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
