An established and successful business specialising in roofing, cladding, rainscreen and envelope solutions, based in Warrington, Cheshire are looking to appoint a new Designer for Roofing & CladdingThe role:
Designer Roofing & Cladding: Dealing with various Roofing & Cladding systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Produce project specific Fabrication drawings.
-Review project contact drawings & specification, i.e. Architects, Structural Engineers, Steelwork, etc, and raise any necessary design queries.
-Attend Design meetings both on site and via Teams where necessary.
-Liaise directly with Customers, Architects, etc, as part of the design process.
-Liaise with system manufacturers and suppliers.
-Liaise with site staff, supervisors, installation operatives, etc, in respect of any design related issues.
-Material scheduling and procurement.
-Site measuring and surveys as and when necessary.
The Company:A leading and well established successful Building Envelope specialist based in Warrington, Cheshire. They operate in the North West of England, the North Midlands, Cumbria and North Wales,They design, supply and install roofing, wall cladding and rainscreen facade systems. They provide effective solutions for the refurbishment of buildings and offer over-cladding, strip & re-clad and flat to pitch roofing.
The Person:
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Roofing & Cladding designer who would have the opportunity to develop in to a senior role within the Business. They will have Design experience with building envelope solutions.
Industry sector: Roofing & Cladding - All aspects of the Building Envelope including but not limited to Standing seam, Composite, Rainscreen cladding, Single-ply flat roofing, Hot melt roofing, SFS Structural Framing Systems.
AutoCAD experience.
