Role: Senior Mechanical Designer
Location: Birchwood, Warrington
Duration: 12 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Rate: Hourly Rate
About the Role:
We currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join the team in Warrington. This role will play a key part in supporting complex engineering projects in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce CAD drawings from concept through to manufacturing detail, in line with relevant standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of design deliverables, including verification of drawings.
- Support delivery of mechanical design work scope, including checking and reporting.
- Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor (including use of Inventor Vault).
- Modify and update existing drawings as the design develops.
Required Skills & Experience:
- HNC (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline.
- Proficient with Autodesk tools: AutoCAD, Inventor, RECAP.
- Familiarity with 3D systems and design standards (e.g. BS 8888).
- Previous experience working in highly regulated environments.
