Up to £ 60,000 basic DOE plus bonuses
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue within permanentrecruitment while also spearheading my client's expansion into the contracting recruitment market.Your primary focus will be generating new client partnerships and delivering revenue growth.
This role requires a strategic sales leader with a proven track record in business development,market expansion, and revenue generation within the recruitment sector. You will identify newopportunities, develop key client relationships, and position my client as the recruitment partnerof choice across multiple industries.
New Business Development:• Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies to secure new clientsin permanent recruitment and break into contract recruitment.• Develop and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities andconversions.• Identify and engage with potential clients, presenting recruitment solutions as the ideal fit for their hiring needs.
Market Expansion & Strategic Growth:• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging industries and sectors forexpansion.• Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for contract recruitment, establishing afoundation for long-term success.• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and talent market shifts to positionmy client services effectively.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:• Develop and maintain strong C-suite and senior hiring manager relationships to securenew contracts.• Lead negotiations and commercial agreements, ensuring profitable and long-term client relationships and partnerships.• Provide consultative recruitment solutions, aligning with client hiring needs and talentacquisition goals.
Revenue Maximisation & Performance Management:• Achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring profitability and scalability.• Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track and optimise sales effectiveness.• Leverage CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, reporting and forecasting.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:• Work closely with Commercial and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding andfulfilment of client needs.• Take a proactive approach to enhancing lead generation and market positioningthrough strategic outreach and networking.• Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales activities with broader business growthstrategies.
Key Attributes:• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development within the recruitment industry.• Experience in permanent recruitment and contract recruitment sales.• Strong market analysis skills to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and networking abilities to win and grow high-value accounts.• Ability to work autonomously, drive results, and exceed ambitious sales and revenue goals/targets.• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools to optimise performance andreporting.• Commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of pricing models, recruitmentmargins, and contract structure
