I am pleased to be working with a market-leading supplier within the OEM parts industry, as they look for a tenacious and dedicated Sales Account Manager to join their busy team. The client is located in Appleton Thorn, Warrington, and are recruiting on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an already established customer base, and driving sales of products to this base. They will be responsible for growing and maintaining these relationships, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided whilst also maximising income.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Day-to-day management of customer accounts, ensuring regular scheduled contact takes place to ensure maximum income from clients
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, ensuring they are presented with suitable propositions in relation to product and financials
  • Provide product information to clients, advising on pricing, quality and suitability to ensure maximum satisfaction
  • Up selling and cross selling when possible
  • Strategic forecasting and planning to ensure communication is kept regular

Specification:

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced sales environment is essential
  • Previous experience within a similar Account Management role is essential
  • Previous experience within a similar Technical Sales roles, ideally from a spares/car parts background, is desirable
  • B2B experience is desirable
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbally
