As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems and schematics for a range of high-profile projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, using your technical expertise to ensure designs are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).

Select electrical components and specify system requirements in accordance with client needs and industry regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

Support prototyping, testing, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., BS7671, IEC, NEC, etc.).

Prepare documentation including BOMs, test plans, and technical reports.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in design processes.
Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical design engineering.

Proficiency in electrical CAD software.

Solid understanding of electrical standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with PLCs, control systems, or power distribution is a plus
