Reed Talent Solutions are working with United Utilities on the search for a Water Events Analyst to join a growing team at their Lingley Mere Business Park.

About the Role:

As a Water Event Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Monitoring & Control team, reporting directly to the Water Events Manager. You will have regional ownership of all reactive events and planned interruptions on the water network, managing them through to completion and ensuring accurate interruption to supply information is recorded. Your role will also involve proactively monitoring and identifying issues within the water network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reactive events, incidents, and planned interruptions across the water network through to completion.
  • Serve as the focal point for real-time event/incident information and coordination.
  • Ensure accurate capture of all corporate and regulatory data, reporting all interruption to supply-related information to the wider business.
  • Identify potential network issues through telemetry and customer data to avoid interruptions to supply or impact on customers.
  • Detect and evaluate deviations from predefined performance targets to generate validated triggers requiring further action for all water network assets.
  • Recommend courses of action to return the cause of deviation back to normal operating limits.
  • Manage, analyse, and coordinate water quality events in both a reactive and proactive manner.
  • Keep other areas in the business updated on events and incidents detected and manage as appropriate.

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: 2 x 6-10pm shifts on weekdays and 1 x 8-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday.
  • Week 2: 3 x 6-10pm shifts on weekdays and 1 x 8-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday (7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm).

Start date: ASAP

Pay rate:£19 per hour PAYE

Location: Warrington
