Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant - Warrington (Start ASAP)

We're looking for a dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Warrington, starting as soon as possible.



About the Role

  • Full-time position (Monday-Friday, term time only)

  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (BESD/SEMH)

  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support

  • Helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment



About You

  • Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour (school, youth work, or care setting)

  • Calm, patient, and resilient with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships and motivate students to achieve their best

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology, Education, or similar) - desirable but not essential
