About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with strong leadership and organisational skills to ensure smooth operations, efficient stock control, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the warehouse team, ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company procedures

  • Manage stock control, including conducting regular audits and maintaining accurate records

  • Ensure health and safety standards are met and adhered to across all warehouse operations

  • Implement and monitor operational processes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs

  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries and minimise disruptions

  • Train, mentor, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability

  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and operational issues for senior management

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

  • Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment

  • Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
