Role:  Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £38 - £41k (DOE) + Overtime

Location: Warrington

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday Regular days

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK’s leading multi-site supplier supplying into the biggest names in the food retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on fully automated kit at their 1 of 6 purpose-built sites in Warrington. They are looking for an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of industrial equipment.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
  • Fault find on mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings, rollers and much more
  • Maintain levels of critical spares
  • Control calibration records

Requirements

As the mechanical maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
  • Good understanding of mechanical PPM's and reactive maintenance 
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
