We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform Electrical activities to join a leading organisation in the healthcare industry, based in Wigan. This role focuses on maintaining and improving equipment and systems to ensure smooth operational efficiency.

Description

As the Maintenance engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Perform routine Electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve Electrical technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system improvements and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all engineering operations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support to other departments as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working on Electrical equipment (AD/DC motors, PLC's, Inverters, single and 3 phase motors)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
