Our client is leading flooring services provider who specialise in commercial flooring and property refurbishment. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee a diverse range of projects-primarily within the Public Sector-from initial planning through to successful completion.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse projects, including repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works valued up to 500k.

  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to deliver projects that meet end-user needs.

  • Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, and procurement policies.

  • Provide clear and regular reporting on project progress, financials, and risks to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Offer technical advice and support to clients and stakeholders throughout all project stages.

  • Prepare budgets, estimates, quotations, and evaluate tender returns.

  • Maintain high standards of project execution, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed specifications and performance measures.

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships to promote high levels of satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.



Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Building Surveying (desirable).

  • Full UK driving licence (required).

  • SMSTS / SSSTS certified
  • Proven track record in managing construction projects, preferably within a public sector setting.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management, and budget oversight.

  • Experienced in managing both reactive maintenance and refurbishment schemes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (preferred); candidates must be willing to obtain MOJ Level 1 Security Clearance.

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Project, ERP systems, and professional platforms like LinkedIn.
