Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a fulfilling new role in a supportive setting?
A well-resourced and inclusive school in Warrington is seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Supporting pupils across key stages (Primary or Secondary depending on experience)
Creating a structured, supportive and engaging learning environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and external professionals
Monitoring progress, writing reports and contributing to review meetings
Promoting emotional resilience, independence, and confidence in all learners
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
A minimum of 1 year's experience working with children with SEN
Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, safeguarding, and inclusive teaching
A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
