Our client is a bespoke engineering company. From design and build to repair and refurbishment, they serve clients across multiple industries with tailored mechanical solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to add a Mechanical Fitter to their talented team in Warwick.
This is a varied and dynamic role, giving you a balance of workshop-based work and site visits. You’ll be:
- Assembling and commissioning new machinery
- Building, testing, and installing new systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs or part replacements
- Assisting with the wiring of basic electrical control panels and testing systems
- Helping customers get the most out of their equipment through training and handovers
- Supporting design meetings with your practical, hands-on expertise
- Contributing to a close-knit, positive, and collaborative team
- Occasional travel to customer sites in a company vehicle for servicing and support
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have:
- Mechanical fitting experience using a variety of hand tools
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electrical wiring
- Fault-finding know-how and a problem-solving mindset
- Good communication skills—you’re just as confident with colleagues as you are with clients
- The ability to work independently on-site and as part of a collaborative team
Salary and benefits
- Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)
