Position: Regional Sales Manager - North East & ScotlandSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus & company vehicle and fuel cardEmployment type: Permanent, field-based with office presence 2-3 days/week (North East), client travel on non-office days across North East & Scotland, occasional overnight stays (when in Scotland)

Macildowie are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for a rapidly expanding company (over 50% headcount growth in the last year and over 35% increase in year-on-year turnover in recent years) based in the North East. This is a brand new position - driven by growth - as a Sales Manager (Regional - across the North East & Scotland). You will belong to a dynamic team with a strong market presence, and a senior leadership team that is passionate about ongoing professional development. You must be comfortable in an 'on-site' environment and communicating with relevant stakeholders, such as Engineers.

About the RoleAs Regional Sales Manager, you will accelerate sales growth and manage key client accounts across North East England and Scotland. With a portfolio of around?300-400 clients (a mix of lapsed and well-established), you'll rekindle those lapsed relationships, nurture existing ones, and develop new customers. The sales cycle ranges from quick wins to longer-term cultivated deals.

Key Responsibilities* Lead account growth and business development across assigned territories* Drive client engagement through site visits, product demos, and technical consultations* Collaborate internally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to deliver quality service* Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and market insight* Attend relevant trade shows and networking events

We are looking for:* Results-orientated and ambitious individual with B2B sales experience - ideally in industrial products* Background in adjacent sectors is desirable (plant hire, demolition, hydraulic repair, parts, construction, mechanical), although we will welcome applicants who are new to industrial products if you have a strong drive to succeed and the ability to learn through your initiative and confident communications.* Full UK driving licence required* Comfortable working autonomously and proactively* Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
