Job Description:

As an R&D Engineer, you will:

  • Play a key role in the development of automotive HVAC systems from concept through to industrialisation.
  • Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, the R&D Engineer will support new business development and act as a technical interface between customers and internal stakeholders.
  • The R&D Engineer will engage directly with customers to understand requirements, support product validation, and ensure solutions meet performance, durability and quality standards.
  • This role involves coordination with test, quality, production and sales teams, as well as regular travel to customer and international company sites.

Key responsibilities include design assurance using engineering tools, supporting testing activities, analysing test results, investigating failures, and contributing to benchmarking and cost-reduction initiatives. The R&D Engineer will also ensure all work aligns with company procedures and automotive quality standards.
 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Knowledge of component manufacturing processes.
  • Experience using CAD/CAE tools with the ability to analyse results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
