We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and engaging Tutor to support a young person entering Year 9, who is currently on a partial school timetable and at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). This role is more than academic-it's about mentorship, encouragement, and confidence-building.
About the Student- Recently relocated to the area
- Diagnosed with ADHD and PDA
- Working at a Year 6 level academically
- Has a strong love of animals and enjoys being outdoors
- Responds well to practical, fun, and hands-on learning activities
As a Tutor you will:

- Build a trusting relationship through mentorship and positive reinforcement
- Deliver engaging Maths and English sessions tailored to the student's level
- Use creative, outdoor, and animal-themed activities to spark interest and motivation
- Support emotional regulation and confidence in learning
- Collaborate with family and school to ensure consistent progress
About you:
- Experienced in working with learners with EHCPs
- Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Able to design and deliver practical, fun learning experiences
- Comfortable working in informal settings, including outdoor environments
- Passionate about making a difference in a young person's life

- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
