A Legal 500 and award-winning multi-service law firm in Watford is seeking an experienced and dedicated Conveyancer to join its friendly and professional team. Known for delivering exceptional client care and high-quality legal services, the firm offers a supportive, collaborative working environment where your expertise will be valued.The RoleYou will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion, ensuring all transactions are handled with efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction. While residential experience is essential, commercial conveyancing experience would be an advantage (but is not required).Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, equity release, right to buy, and new build transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and money laundering checks.
  • Ensure compliance with CQS standards, SRA regulations, and internal protocols.
  • Draft and review legal documentation, including contracts and Land Registry/title documents.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and deliver a high standard of service.
  • Work collaboratively across the firm to generate referrals and contribute to business growth.
  • Support junior colleagues where appropriate.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX professional.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle a full caseload independently.
  • Thorough understanding of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Account Rules.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and client-focused mindset.
