About the position of Sales Administrator:
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for working alongside the bridging sales team to create and send terms and application documents accurately within agreed timeframes following our internal processes.
You will need to promptly assess application forms received to progress cases into the underwriting team, working closely with the sales team and intermediaries by providing support via email and phone to answer any queries in order to progress cases.
You will need to accurately maintain intermediary data on their in-house system ensuring broker information is correctly recorded and updated where necessary. You need to be able to provide guidance on the application process and timeframes so knowledge of bridging loans is preferable but not essential.
Responsibilities for the role of Sales Administrator:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team to help achieve new business targets, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed service levels.
- Prioritise and manage daily workload to effectively support sales activities.
- Handle inbound queries from introducers, delivering excellent service and identifying sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate introducer records, including permissions, licences, and documentation.
- Stay informed about our full range of products to support cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure all systems are kept up to date with accurate and timely information.
- Keep up to date with relevant market trends and mortgage industry knowledge.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Preparing and sending accurate bridging terms and application documents.
- Reviewing new applications for completeness before progressing to underwriting.
- Creating ESIS documents and checking broker permissions for regulated cases.
- Assisting the sales team with application queries and maintaining broker records.
- Gathering required documentation and agreements for intermediaries.
- Handling overflow calls and supporting regional teams as needed.
- Understanding and clearly communicating West One's bridging products.
- Flagging potential sales opportunities to the regional BDM team.
- Providing flexible support across the business, including covering absences.
Experience and skills required for the role of Sales Administrator:
- Great telephone manner and able to articulate self well
- Experience within an admin role
- PCLiterate
- Experience in financial services desirable but not essential
