Are you an ER Specialist or HR Generalist with strong ER knowledge and expertise? We are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's fast-paced and dynamic HR Services team.

In this role, you will manage a full spectrum of ER cases, providing expert advice and guidance to managers while ensuring compliance with employment law, policies, and best practices. If you're an experienced ER or HR Advisor / Manager who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering a high-quality advisory service, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing expert ER advice to managers on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, and performance management.
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 30 ER cases, including complex employment law challenges.
  • Coaching and mentoring managers, helping them assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Responding to employee concerns and queries with a customer-focused approach.
  • Drafting outcome letters and supporting tribunal preparation, including case documentation.
  • Delivering ER workshops to upskill managers and improve ER best practices. Ensuring accurate record-keeping in the HR system and compliance with service level agreements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ER or HR Advisor with demonstrable experience handling end-to-end ER cases.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its commercial application.
  • Experience writing outcome letters and supporting tribunals.
  • CIPD Level 3-5 (or equivalent) or working towards qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide balanced and constructive advice.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building skills to support and guide managers.
