We are seeking an organised and customer-focused individual to join the Admissions and Administration team. The role involves providing front-line support to students, parents, employers, and staff while ensuring accurate data management and smooth administrative processes.
Key requirements:
Strong customer service and administrative experience
Excellent attention to detail and data management skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when needed
Strong IT skills (training provided on specialist systems)
This is a full-time role (37 hours per week) with some evening and event support required. You'll benefit from training, development opportunities, and the support of a collaborative team.
Main Purpose of Job
This post provides administrative support to student-facing services and wider business support functions. The role requires flexibility, accuracy, and strong customer service skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate student records, including enquiries, applications, and enrolments.
Provide advice and guidance to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Respond to enquiries via phone, email, webchat, and in person.
Assist with applications, enrolments, and funding or support processes.
Record and monitor student absences and withdrawals.
Deliver excellent front-of-house customer service.
Liaise with teaching teams to resolve queries and provide updates.
Make referrals to specialist staff or external agencies where appropriate.
Support administrative processes such as data reporting, exam submissions, and meeting minutes.
Duties and Responsibilities - Business Support Administrator
Provide administrative support to staff, students, and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of applications, enrolments, and student attendance.
Respond to enquiries across phone, email, webchat, and in person.
Assist with applications, enrolments, and student funding processes.
Deliver high-quality front-of-house service and liaise with teams to resolve queries.
Support wider business activities such as data reporting, exams, and meetings.
General Responsibilities
Contribute to enrolment, events, and other organisational activities.
Take part in training and development to maintain skills and knowledge.
Adhere to health and safety requirements.

Carry out additional duties as required by the line manager.
