Sales Executive - Mechanical & Electrical Supply Sector
Location: Wednesbury
Salary: Up to 34,000 basic + 6,000 performance bonus (paid quarterly)
Total Package: 40,000 OTE

An established and growing supplier in the mechanical and electrical industry is looking to recruit a Sales Executive with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach to selling. This role goes beyond processing orders - we're seeking someone who can identify opportunities, add value for customers, and drive revenue through effective upselling and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make proactive outbound calls to customers across a designated UK territory.

  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell - not just process orders.

  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Consistently achieve revenue targets and daily call KPIs.

  • Conduct market research and stay aware of industry trends.

  • Provide support to the internal sales team with occasional inbound enquiries and administrative tasks.

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within B2B or product-based sectors.

  • A proactive, consultative sales approach - with a clear focus on identifying customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
