Owen Payne Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf our client who are a large, well-known family run Distribution and Logistics company and We are actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician within the Wednesbury area on a straight, permanent contract from day 1.
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will oversee the safe and efficient preparation of varied fleet, working alongside a range of manufacturers and models to develop your skills and remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology.

The ideal candidate will possess
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Experience in wiring and camera maintenance
- Experience in car service and repair
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
Key duties of the role include -
- Utilisting your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
- Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
- Communicate successfully with customers and clients where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations
