We are working with a specialist school in Wellingborough that is looking for Teaching Assistants to join them on a permanent basis.
This school focusses on working with students that have been excluded from mainstream education and helps them get read for employment.
In the role of Teaching Assistant, you will be working under the direction and supervision of the tutor/teacher.
You will be working with small groups of around 6 students or on a 1:1 basis.
Working hours are:
8.30am - 4.30pm 3x p/w
8.30am - 2.45pm 1x p/w
8.30am - 3.15pm 1x p/w
Term Time only.
8.30am - 4.30pm 3x p/w
8.30am - 2.45pm 1x p/w
8.30am - 3.15pm 1x p/w
Term Time only.
The salary is split into 12x equal payments throughout the year.
Job Role Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSE qualifications or equivalents (Maths and English essential)
- Classroom experience
- Lesson planning experience
- Over 18
- Experience in behaviour management
- Understanding of SEN and managing the individual needs of students
They have a couple vacancies to start immediately and a few others to start later in the year.
