Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
- Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
- Take swift and effective action on medium to high-level ASB cases, working closely with tenants, police, and other partner agencies.
- Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits to maintain high standards and build strong relationships with tenants.
- Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date, meeting regulatory and safeguarding standards.
What We'd Love to See from You:
- Proven experience in tenancy or housing management, including ASB and tenancy enforcement.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
