We are currently on the lookout for a Housing Officer to urgently join a Housing association in Northampton, you'll enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office-based tasks with the flexibility of working from home. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, dedicated professional to manage a patch of general needs tenancies, ensure sustainable tenancies, and contribute to the creation of safe, thriving communities.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
  • Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
  • Take swift and effective action on medium to high-level ASB cases, working closely with tenants, police, and other partner agencies.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits to maintain high standards and build strong relationships with tenants.
  • Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date, meeting regulatory and safeguarding standards.

What We'd Love to See from You:
  • Proven experience in tenancy or housing management, including ASB and tenancy enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
