Company Overview:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established engineering/manufacturing company based in Wellingborough. Due to ongoing growth and increased workload, they are looking for a skilled and reliable MIG Welder/Fabricator to join their team.

Role Overview:
As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal components from technical drawings and specifications. The role involves working with mild steel and other materials, producing high-quality finished products to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding of mild steel components

  • Fabricating metal parts from engineering drawings

  • Cutting, grinding, and preparing materials

  • Assembling and fitting components as required

  • Inspecting finished work for quality and accuracy

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder and Fabricator

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Competent with fabrication tools and workshop equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications (desirable but not essential)
