We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established engineering/manufacturing company based in Wellingborough. Due to ongoing growth and increased workload, they are looking for a skilled and reliable MIG Welder/Fabricator to join their team.
Role Overview:
As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal components from technical drawings and specifications. The role involves working with mild steel and other materials, producing high-quality finished products to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:

MIG welding of mild steel components

Fabricating metal parts from engineering drawings

Cutting, grinding, and preparing materials

Assembling and fitting components as required

Inspecting finished work for quality and accuracy

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a MIG Welder and Fabricator

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-
Competent with fabrication tools and workshop equipment

Strong attention to detail and quality

Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications (desirable but not essential)
