Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a key leadership role within the organisation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the business through continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of a finance team
Day-to-day transactional oversight and advice
Interpretation and presentation of financial reports
Budgetary control and financial planning
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Development and monitoring of KPIs and performance metrics
Evaluation of business projects and investments
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Ensuring accurate service costing and financial modelling
Preparation of management reports, commentaries, and detailed variance analysis with insights on key cost drivers
Management of balance sheet provisions and accruals
Review and analysis of departmental expenditure to ensure cost accuracy and accountability
Support in the preparation of operational budgets and rolling forecasts
The ideal candidate will be a confident and commercially-minded finance professional with a strong background in service-based industries. You will be equally comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, with a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving.
