Our client is highly established and one of the leading providers of reduction services in the UK and have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Utility Service Advisor.
Job Role:
Do you thrive on solving problems, keeping customers happy, and getting to the bottom of tricky issues? If so, our client is looking for a confident, detail-driven, and customer-focused Utility Service Advisor to join their successful Utilities Team.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving utility queries, coordinating tenancy changes, and ensuring our members receive the best service possible. You’ll need a sharp mind, the confidence to challenge suppliers when necessary, and the drive to see each task through to completion.

Job Duties:
Manage and resolve utility customer service queries within agreed timescales.
Tackle queries of varying complexity with professionalism and persistence.
Coordinate tenancy changes and update supplier records.
Build strong relationships with utility suppliers and internal teams.
Confirm contract information with suppliers and validate invoices.
Issue contract terminations and resolve any supplier objections.
Keep up-to-date with industry changes and share updates internally.
Maintain accurate internal system records for queries and contracts.
Support the Utilities Team Manager with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Skills:
Strong customer service mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
Assertive, self-motivated, and naturally curious.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Excel.
Ability to adapt, improve processes, and work to deadlines.
Determination to challenge inaccurate information from suppliers when needed.
Preferred, but not essential:
- Knowledge of the UK energy market.
- Previous experience in utility customer service.
