Colleague Experience UX Researcher

Location: Welwyn Garden City 3 days onsite (non negotiable)

Are you a passionate and experienced UX Researcher looking to make a real impact in a dynamic organisation? We are seeking a Colleague Experience UX Researcher to join our team for a contract. This role focuses on enhancing the experience of our 250,000+ store colleagues and driving significant improvements in their day-to-day interactions.

What We're Looking For:

As the lead researcher, you will take ownership of foundational store colleague research. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Consolidation of Existing Research: Review and synthesise current insights on user groups, roles, and profiles of our store colleagues.

2. Development of Research Packs: Create compelling research artefacts, including personas, "days in the life," empathy maps, and more. These will serve as essential resources for technology product, design teams, and business stakeholders.


3. Creation of Process Maps: Research and document existing colleague journeys to clarify and enhance their experiences.

End Goals:

Foster a deeper understanding of our colleagues among all stakeholders by producing engaging research artefacts.
Generate impactful hypotheses and insights from your research that drive both colleague experience improvements and business value.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and your team to identify new opportunities and influence product roadmaps and strategic decisions.

Key Stakeholders:

You will work alongside various teams, including the Head of Design, colleague experience leads and managers, product directors, and business stakeholders in store operations and people teams.
