Finance Manager
Location: Welwyn (Hybrid/home working options available)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 FTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Part-time, 21 hours per week (average of three working days)

Finance Manager – About our client:
Our client is a respected membership association offering a critical part-time opportunity within their finance function. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role plays a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations. The position offers a blend of home and office-based working, with flexibility outside of peak financial periods.

Finance Manager – Responsibilities:

Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns
Prepare documentation for the annual audit
Maintain both sales and purchase ledgers
Input sales invoices, manage credit control, and set up customer accounts
Process purchase invoices, BACs runs, direct debits, and supplier accounts
Weekly reconciliation of financial statements and batch payments
Manage late payments and process staff expenses
Support the payroll process
Develop and implement finance policies and procedures with the Director of Operations
Assist with additional finance duties as required

Finance Manager – What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Self-motivated, professional, and discreet
Confident using accounting software and Excel
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
