Finance Manager – About our client:Our client is a respected membership association offering a critical part-time opportunity within their finance function. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role plays a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations. The position offers a blend of home and office-based working, with flexibility outside of peak financial periods.

Finance Manager – Benefits:

Finance Manager – Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare documentation for the annual audit
  • Maintain both sales and purchase ledgers
  • Input sales invoices, manage credit control, and set up customer accounts
  • Process purchase invoices, BACs runs, direct debits, and supplier accounts
  • Weekly reconciliation of financial statements and batch payments
  • Manage late payments and process staff expenses
  • Support the payroll process
  • Develop and implement finance policies and procedures with the Director of Operations
  • Assist with additional finance duties as required

Finance Manager – What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • Self-motivated, professional, and discreet
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
