As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and SEND staff to deliver engaging lessons, one-to-one support, and targeted interventions in a dynamic classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
- Deliver classroom support across a range of subjects in KS3 and KS4
- Provide tailored one-to-one assistance and small-group interventions
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

- Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation

What we're looking for in a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
- Recent experience in a school or education setting (paid or voluntary)
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- An understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
