Bank Nursery Practitioner (Casual Staff)

Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: Flexible - typically 8-10 hours per day (covering staff sickness, annual leave, etc.)

About the Role:

As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will provide cover for staff absences, helping to maintain a high standard of care and education in our nursery. Hours are flexible and based on our staffing needs - perfect for someone looking for a varied and rewarding role.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities for children following the EYFS framework.

  • Support children's physical, emotional, and educational development.

  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

  • Maintain accurate observations and records when required.



Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working with EYFS-age children in a nursery or school setting.

  • DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply - cost refundable after 20 days of work).

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

  • Flexibility to work across different shifts as needed.

  • Reliable, caring, and passionate about supporting children's development.
