Restaurant Manager – Leisure and Events venue

Location Hertfordshire

Salary: Up to £42,000

About the company:

I am excited to be working with premium resort in Hertfordshire. They are looking to speak to passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the team across restaurants and events. The ideal candidate will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing on exceptional customer service and operational excellence. They will also be part of the resort team managing events across the estate like weddings, society days and networking events.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and scheduling to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to create a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development.

Customer Experience:

  • Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse sales and revenue reports to make informed business decisions.
